You may create or upload content such as notes, vocabulary, and lessons ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting or storing User Content in the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and process the content solely for operating and improving the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content does not infringe third-party rights or violate applicable laws.
The Service may integrate with third‑party providers (e.g., Supabase for auth/database, Google OAuth, and optional iTalki integrations). Your use of those services may be subject to their terms and privacy policies.
All software, features, design elements, and content provided by Cocoen (excluding User Content) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service except as expressly permitted by these Terms.
Some features may be experimental or in beta. These features may change or be removed at any time. We appreciate feedback to help improve the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error‑free operation. Educational results vary by learner; we do not guarantee specific outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cocoen will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues arising from your use of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we believe it is necessary to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service or legal requirements. We will indicate the effective date and, when significant, provide notice within the app.
